Time: 3:15 – 4:15 pm

- Two 20 min halves (+ 5 min overtime), separated by a 5 min halftime (no quarter breaks).
- No shot clock (please play fairly).
- The clock does not stop for out-of-bounds, fouls / free throws, etc. The clock only stops for timeouts, injuries and halftime/quarter breaks.
Timeouts & substitutions:
- Two 1 min timeouts total will be allotted to each team.
- Substitutions will be allowed at any time (no timeout needed, just step out and have the sub step into the court).
- Please make sure to rotate often, so as to give everyone a chance to play the game.
- Free throws for shooting fouls only.
- Call your own fouls (if necessary, bystanders/bench can help out as referees).
- Standard (1 point free throw, 2 points inside the three-point line, 3 points outside the line).
- When you make a shot, please hold up two/three fingers (signifying the number of points the field goal was worth) towards the scorekeeper. If you miss a shot, hold up the zero sign.
You are all cordially invited to: “Fly With Me” EEPC’s 2011 Spring Formal. This year, our formal will be held at the beautiful, extravagant Almansor Court: 700 South Almansor St., Alhambra, CA 91801.
Our formal will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The cost for the event is $30.00 per EEPster and $40.00 for a non-EEPster guest. Each EEPster is allowed to bring a guest that must be approved by Dr. Maddox.
The night will include delicious, scrumptious finger foods that include chocolate fondue, various desserts, and other various treats, a night full of dancing, and other fun activities. There will also be a raffle, a dance competition, and a best-dressed contest. So bring your dancing shoes and dress to impress.
There will also be a professional DJ that will cater to all our musical needs. You will be able to request songs, but e-mail Jakki if you have a song in mind that you would liked to be played that night.
There will also be a professional photographer to capture all the special moments that happen during the night. Each photo will cost around $20.00 which includes a professionally printed copy of the photo and a digital copy of the photo.
The permission slips and guest forms are here. Each guest must also fill out a permission slip form. Forms and fees are due on Monday, March 14, 2011. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

This will (hopefully) be a sign of regular posting on the blog.
Starting things off, the Back-to-School event was held September 30 to a crowd of hungry EEPsters. thanks to everyone who brought food! Check out pictures from the event here.
Fright Night is coming up!
Fright Night is happening on Friday, October 29 at 4:30PM. We have a costume contest, pie eating contest, apple bobbing, scary movies, and possibly a murder mystery to keep you entertained! If your interested, we are also going to the Old Town Haunt (http://www.oldtownhaunt.com/) at 6PM and should be back in the lounge by 9PM. If you are going to the haunted house, bring $6 in change (each trip is a $1.5o). Additional info and proper forms (there’s three of them!) can be found under the events tab.
Yearbook orders are due next Monday, 10/18 in order to lock in your price of $55 (which includes a hardcover yearbook and DVD). After that date, the price will go up, so please get your orders in on time. The order form can be found under the yearbook tab.
We’re bringing back the student newsletter for your reading pleasure. A hardcopy will be released in the lounge this week and we should have the electronic version up here over the weekend.
